About S. A. Weigle

I lead a quiet life, living on my own in the Pacific Northwest in Washington state, just a short walk from Puget Sound. I’m introverted by nature, and enjoy solo activities such as hiking, long driving trips, and traveling alone.

My other interests include current events and social trends, learning detailed information about anything, and reading.

Lately, it’s mostly been manga, and the visual presentation has significantly influenced my approach to storytelling. I watch a lot of video (at home), mostly animated things. While I love to write drama and emotion, it makes me too anxious to watch it.

My first priority is writing, which is how I spend almost the entire day, nearly every day of the week . It’s my nature to always feel like I’m not getting enough done—ever—so I do better if I don’t take too much time off.

I publish my own books because I don’t have the patience to deal with the traditional process and I don’t like being told to change what I write. Plus, I like doing all the other parts of publishing—running a business, creating a website, and countless other tasks that support the act of artistic creation.
