My distinctive advantage as an author is my unique life experiences expressed through my writing.
Each artist must define their own line
I draw a line between creative expression and the support of that expression that I do not allow AI influence to cross.
Artificial intelligence may assist with research, organization, analysis, and operational support in my business and writing projects, but it does not participate in the creative expression that forms my authored work.
- I do not use AI to generate the content of my books, fiction, essays, articles, or other literary works.
- My outlines, drafts, character studies, plots, themes, and narrative development originate with me.
My creative decisions, voice, and expression are mine alone
I may use AI tools to review, organize, summarize, format, or convert authored content into supporting resources, including structured reference pages, metadata, marketing presentations, and policies or procedural website content.
These assets are derived from my notes, outlines, drafts, and other source materials and prepared, sometimes with AI assistance, under my direction to improve accessibility and discoverability.
I remain responsible for the content I publish
AI tools may assist with the tasks noted above, but they do not replace my authorship of the underlying creative work.
AI has a place. I have a boundary. I know where that boundary is.
